Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
At St Andrews Park, Bristol BS7
July 10th midday - July 30th dusk

Artist: Lucie Smailes
An installation of 50 yellow (mostly) vintage bows tied around the trees in St Andrews Park (as part of 'The Park Arts' day)
Lucie is inviting the public to contribute their thoughts and words to this art piece, by writing a message to someone they have loved and lost.
Wooden 'memory markers' are available from 'The Tea Gardens' in the park, for people to write their messages on, and then place at the foot of a ribboned tree.
This evolving installation will be part of the park for 20 days, and at dusk on the 30th July, night lights will be positioned around every ribboned tree for a closing ceremony.
